Basic information
On the obverse is a famous image of Elizabeth II, owned by the artist Ian Rank-Broadley. The portrait of the ruler is organically inserted into the shield. The shield itself is located on the heraldic eagle, which acts as the main part of the front side of the gold coin. On the right is the Czech mint sign.
On the other side of the coin is the Czech Lion. According to tradition, on the head of this animal is the crown of St. Wenceslas - the most famous patron saint of the Czech Republic. In addition, there are traditional linden leaves, as well as the inscription "Czech Republic."
