Every year the Perth Mint issues a beautiful silver Koala coin with an annually changing design. The koala is Australia's cutest marsupial animal and is globally popular as a national symbol.
The 2023 Koala coin features a detailed drawing of a koala sitting in a tree with a cub on its back. The reverse design is complemented by: the coin name - "KOALA", the year of issue (2023), weight (1 troy ounce) and purity of silver -0,9999.
The obverse traditionally depicts Elizabeth II. On the rim of the inscriptions: ELIZABETH II - the name of the Queen, the years of the Queen's reign: 1952-2022, the name of the issuing country - AUSTRALIA and the face value - 1 Australian dollar.
The mintage of the 2023 1 oz Koala silver coin is limited to 300,000 pieces.
